Save our NHS – 7th March Lobby and Rally

Our NHS is a national treasure that we should all be proud of. It has cared for generations of working people. It places fairness at the heart of our society You need the NHS – now it needs you. The coalition’s Health and Social Care Bill, which is currently making its way through the House of Lords, will destroy the NHS that we know and love.

Your help is needed to kill this bill. Time is running out. If we don’t act now the Bill will soon be law but you can make a difference.

Join Unite’s lobby of parliament and join the mass day of action to save our NHS.

Date: Wednesday, 7th March from 1pm to 7.30pm

Where: Houses of Parliament, London.

Make sure you book an appointment with your constituency MP. This is may be our last chance to get the Bill dropped.

Unite wants this to be the biggest ever lobby of parliament, but only you can make this happen. The day of action will include a range of activities from tea with the Lords to workshops what to say when you meet your MP.

Unite’s lobby will be followed by a ‘Save our NHS’ rally in Central Hall, Westminster from 6pm.

Nurses, midwives, doctors, physiotherapists, managers, paramedics, radiographers, cleaners, porters and other employees from across the health service will join with patients, under the ‘All together for the NHS campaign to put pressure on peers and MPs, as the Health and Social Care Bill enters its final crucial parliamentary stages.
