Four unions have today announced their ballot results for industrial action on November 30th. All great results which sends a clear message to the Government – Hands Of Public Sector Pensions.
They are as follows:
Chartered Society of Physiotherapy members backed industrial action by 86%, on a turn out of 66%
Prospect members voted 75% – 25% was recorded in a ballot of 30,000 members in more than 120 government departments, agencies, and non-departmental public bodies. Turn out was 53%.
In a ballot turnout of 54%, members of the First Division Association have voted decisively in favour of industrial action over the government’s plans to reform public sector pension arrangements, 81% of those who voted were in favour of industrial action.
The ballot of 17,500 Society of Radiographers members who work in the NHS and carry out crucial medical diagnostic and therapy procedures returned an 83% “Yes” vote in a 58.2% turnout.
