sir.as member of the T+G etc for 40 + years i’m now find myself in an odd circumstance re-retired membership.having been asked to take an enhanced grade of membership for benefits which largely consist of commission earning insurance product which benefit Unite,i’m now told my old membership grade no longer exists.that now i must either accept a non voting grade or continue to accept my annual subs of £26 + ( which amounts to 76p per month more than an active member of Unison, in my retirement, this seem to be now another bit of ‘rip off’ britain from an organisation which purports to protect us fro such things.grateful for an explanation!!!!!!!
