Unite activist and London Cabbie Mike Hedges is cycling 310k over five days this April to raise money for the Music Fund For Cuba, as part of Cuba Solidarity Campaign’s Cuba Cycle Challenge.
He is now well on the way to raising the sponsorship money – so if you’re able to sponsor him, that would be very much appreciated.
The Music Fund is an incredible cause, established in memory of the brilliant Kirsty Macoll, and which supports cultural projects in Cuba for children such as the wonderful Abel Santamaria School in Havana for visually impaired children.
The school is a total inspiration and represents everything about Cuba’s culture and its values. Many projects the Fund supports are short of essential things they need, due to the US illegal blockade, so the money raised really makes a difference and provides a fantastic way to show solidarity with Cuba.
It would be very much appreciated if you could sponsor Mike and support the Music Fund for Cuba in solidarity with Cuba.
You can do this by clicking here to visit Mike’s justgiving site or clicking on the graphic above.
Or you can post Mike a cheque payable to `Music Fund for Cuba’ to Mike at 51 Grayson House, Radnor Street, London EC1V 3SR.
